Trek to Indrahara Pass: (4350 Metres)   Grade: Moderate

Trek to the pass is steep and goes over soft snow and a number of icy streams covered with hard snow have to be negotiated. Such type of conditions is mostly during the end of April, May and June. This trek passes over rock faces and at certain points involves very steep climbing. Inclement weather with zero visibility obstructs the movement of a trekker. This pass provides a very scenic view of both Kangra and Chamba valleys and offers distant view of the Middle and Greater Himalayas. The other side of the pass remains snow-covered until the middle of July.

Day 1 Mcleodganj to Triund 2875 Mts. Distance: 9 Kms.
Day 2 Triund to Lahesh Cave 3500 Mts. Distance: 5 Kms.
Day 3 Lahesh Cave to Indrahara Pass 4350 Mts. & back to Triund Distance: 10 Kms.
Day 4 Triund to Mcleodganj Distance: 9 Kms.

Trek to Toral Pass (4250 Metres)   Grade: Moderate

Toral Pass (4375 m) lies to the northeast of Dharamshala and is rarely visited by any trekking groups except those sponsored by the Himalayan Heights Adventure. Only shepherds from the villages of Kangra tehsil and Dharamshala take this route with sheep and goats to enter into Ravi valley from June end to end of October. Along this route, there are lush green valleys with meadows spread over vast areas.

Old Chamunda

Day 1 Mcleodganj to Tang Narwana by Bus (12 Kms) then to Guntu Gote (3385 Mts.) Distance: 12 Kms.
Day 2 Guntu Gote to Camping Site (3700 Mts.) Distance: 8 Kms.
Day 3 Camping Site to Toral Pass & back to Gunto Gote Distance: 16 Kms.
Day 4 Guntu Gote to Tang Narwana and then to Mcleodganj Distance: 12 Kms.

Trek to Talang Pass (4643 Metres)   Grade: Very Difficult

  Talang Pass (4643 m) is one of the highest and difficult passes on the Dhauladhar range. This pass is located at the head of the Ban Ganga River, and north of the main Chamunda temple between Narwana, Jia and Holi, this pass rise abruptly from an elevation of 2500 m to 4643 m.

Day wise itenary of the Trek:

Day 1 Mcleodganj to Jia by Bus 20 Kms then to Supdhar Camping Site (2450 Mts.) Distance: 14 Kms.
Day 2 Supdhar camping site to Talang Pass (4643 Mts.)and back to Gaddi Gote (2800Mts.) Distance: 9 Kms.
Day 3 Gaddi Gote to Old Chamunda Temple (3000 Mts.) Distance: 10 Kms.
Day 4 Old Chamunda Temple to Jadrangal and then to Mcleodganj (10 Km by Bus.) Distance: 16 Kms.
